Asked Questions
Unique Diamond Horse Sanctuary is a nonprofit horse rescue and sanctuary dedicated to caring for rescued horses. in a safe, loving, and supportive environment. Our focus is on providing daily care, rehabilitation, and long-term sanctuary for animals in need.
At this time, the sanctuary is at full capacity and is unable to accept additional horses. This decision is necessary to ensure the horses already in our care receive the attention, space, and support they need.
The number of animals currently at the sanctuary has grown significantly, and responsible rescue means knowing when capacity has been reached. We are committed to maintaining proper care, veterinary attention, and a safe environment for the horses and ponies already here.
Visits are currently limited and by request only. Due to health concerns, including the need to protect our animals during equine virus concerns, we are carefully controlling outside visits and group access.
At this time, group visits and events are restricted. Any approved visits must be requested in advance and reviewed based on the current needs and health of the sanctuary.
Donations help cover the real, ongoing costs of horse rescue and sanctuary care, including feed, veterinary treatment, medications, farrier services, fencing, shelter maintenance, bedding, and everyday supplies. They are essential to the well-being of the horses and ponies in our care.
Your donation goes directly toward the care and upkeep of the animals at the sanctuary. This includes food, water, medical care, hoof care, safe shelter, and other daily needs that help rescued horses. live safely and comfortably.
Sponsorship can be a meaningful way to directly support the care of our rescued horses
Volunteer opportunities may be limited depending on the health and care needs of the sanctuary at any given time. Please contact us directly to ask about current volunteer options and approved involvement.
You can help by shopping our store, sharing our mission on social media, telling others about the sanctuary, participating in approved support efforts, and continuing to raise awareness about responsible horse care and rescue
While we are not able to accept additional horses at this time, we encourage owners to seek local equine rescue resources, veterinary guidance, and responsible rehoming support as early as possible. Waiting too long can make rescue situations even more difficult.
Because rescue is not just about taking animals in. It is about being able to provide them with proper food, medical support, shelter, safety, and long-term care. We believe every horse deserves that level of responsibility and compassion.
