Every year, Unique Diamond Horse Sanctuary proudly continues a tradition that is very close to our hearts, providing Easter baskets for foster children in our community.
For many foster children, holidays can be difficult. Something as simple as receiving an Easter basket filled with candy, small gifts, and thoughtful items can make a child feel remembered, valued, and loved. That is what this tradition is all about: making sure these children know that someone is thinking about them.
Thanks to the kindness and generosity of our supporters, donors, and volunteers, Unique Diamond Horse Sanctuary is once again preparing Easter baskets for foster children in 2026.
Each basket is filled with care and love, and every donation helps us bring a smile to a child who truly deserves it.
This is more than just an Easter basket.
- It is a reminder to these children that they are not forgotten.
- It is a reminder that there are people who care about them.
- It is a small act of kindness that can make a very big difference.
Together, we are making a difference, one child, one horse, one act of kindness at a time.

Unique Diamonds Horse Sanctuary Welcomes Feline Friends from Marion County Animal Services
In a heartwarming expansion of its rescue efforts, Unique Diamonds Horse Sanctuary has recently opened its doors to two special feline residents: Sydney, a gray tabby, and Ranga, a ginger tabby. These cats were adopted through Marion County Animal Services’ Working Whiskers program , which places less-social cats in environments where they can thrive as natural rodent deterrents.
Visitors to the sanctuary have expressed delight in spotting the new feline residents, often observing them lounging in sunny spots or playfully chasing insects. The presence of Sydney and Ranga has added an extra layer of charm to the sanctuary, captivating the hearts of both staff and guests alike.
As Sydney and Ranga continue to settle in, the sanctuary remains committed to providing them with a nurturing environment where they can thrive. Their journey from shy, less social cats to cherished members of the sanctuary family serves as a testament to the transformative power of patience, care, and a loving home.
